Aguilar Tone Hammer 500

The Tone Hammer series is Aguilar’s answer to bass players chasing that warm, soulful tube vibe without hauling a boat anchor. Light on the back but heavy on tone, it’s got that rich, harmonic preamp that brings out a round, full-bodied character in every note—whether you’re laying it down live or tracking in the studio.

You get a proper 3-band EQ with bass, treble, and a fully sweepable midrange, so you can really carve out your sound. And if you want to add a bit of dirt, the Drive control brings in that tube-like grit and punch that makes your playing hit harder. Add Aguilar’s Cabinet Suite for easy tone-shaping, universal mains for plug-and-play anywhere, and a solid set of connectivity options, and you’ve got a rig that’s ready for the stage, the studio, or a quiet session at home

With the Aguilar Cabinet Suite, you can load up their finely-tuned SL and DB cab IRs—or drop in your own custom files—for spot-on cabinet emulation. Whether you’re running through the XLR or headphone out, your tone gets that real cab feel, no matter where you’re playing.
