TM5 Creme Masterpiece

Holger Stonjek is a man that lives and breathes bass guitars and has been building basses since 1986. He has done it with such massive success that Sandberg is now one of the biggest brands in the bass community.

The focus from Sandberg has always been to produce high-quality instruments at an accessible price point. Hence you get a great and well-balanced bass for the money every single time when you choose Sandberg.

The TM5 is in some ways a very classic instrument where the focus is on a beautiful round and warm sound with a lot of body to it. The body construction is made of Alder and the fingerboard is rosewood, which is something most bass players recognize and will immediately feel at home with.

The TM5 is in some ways a very classic instrument where the focus is on a beautiful round and warm sound with a lot of body to it. With the heat and vibration treatment just make the bass an over the top instrument

The pickups are 1 single coil and a humbucker from Delano that form a very organic relationship with the bass for a natural and beefy tone. You can switch between single coil mode or humbucker mode on the humbucker bridge pickup.

In other words you can go from the more classic sound of the single coil to the more powerful and punchy sound on the bridge pickup. The preamp is Sandberg’s own 2-band EQ Active/Passive, which plays a pivotal part in that classic Sandberg sound.

All in all a really great bass that will make most bass players feel at home after playing their first note on it.
